i'm brittany.

I'm a small-town Midwest girl with big dreams currently revolving around photography, climbing mountains / finding new adventures, and planning my own wedding. (I feel you, girl!) When I'm not working, you can typically find me outside either at a softball field, camping, riding my bike, or spending time with family.  I'm obsessed with: Harry Potter, my fur baby Henna, and trying to stay healthy (and failing  a lot, hah!).

I'm so glad you stopped by on your quest to finding the right photographer for your big day! I hope you can grab a cup of coffee or pour a glass of wine while you view our latest work and learn more about me, my Fiancé, and my puppy :)

John, his best friend Curtis, and I ventured to Juneau, Alaska for about a week in July of 2018. We had perfect weather the entire time, climbed mountains, hiked to ice caves, saw whales, talked with locals, and walked on glaciers. It was one of those soul-filling vacations that we will always hold close to our hearts!

Kauai Hawaii

Oh, Hawaii! The dreamiest of (American) vacation locations, and it did not disappoint! Of course, we did get engaged here on our beautiful hike to Waipo'o Falls, so we will forever have that story to tell! And I got to share it with my best friend and her family, which are like my own. Also, we ate Puka Dogs for about 5 meals while we were there - highly recommend trying those!!

My sweet, sweet fur baby. Going on 10 years that we've been together now!  I picked her up from a shelter while I was in college,  and it was absolutely meant to be! She has been my perfect sidekick ever since. She's even gotten lost a couple times, once in a big city, and once in the big open country, but she's always found her way back to me, and now she rarely leaves my side! #AllTheFeels

The softball field

John and I met when we were picked up to play on the same coed softball team for a day. We were next to each other in the outfield and I made sure he knew I could hold my own ;) The rest is history! We've made so many friends and memories on the softball fields.  And to this day, it's still one of our favorite activities to do together.

The lakehouse

John's Grandma now has a home on a small lake in Indiana. His family gathers here a lot throughout the summer. We love going out there because it usually means sunshine, good food, fun on the water, and just getting to stay in touch with family during a busy season.

the farm

What I call "The Farm" isn't an actual functioning farm. It's my grandparents' home since before I can remember, out in the country with a bit of land and space to breath, and a couple barns on the property that are mostly used for storage now. They also have a nice pond, so it makes a great place for reunions, graduation parties, and random get togethers. More family time and enjoying sunshine!

our wedding day

Your wedding day will go by SO FAST! You’ve heard people say that time and time again. It might be cliché, but that doesn’t make it any less true. When the dance floor clears, the cake is eaten, the dress stored, and you return from your amazing honeymoon together, you are left as newlyweds with your wedding pictures. The images we create together on your big day will become your first family heirloom.

We spend the day capturing all the special moments, from the tiny details of jewelry you’re wearing, to the big emotional moments like the first look, first kiss as a married couple, that special first dance, and everything in between. We keep it simple, but real. The tears, the laughs, the hugs, the family all together looking their best, our goal is to capture the entire sentiment of your day, so you can look back on these images anniversary after anniversary and relive the best day of your life.
